Even before designing your web site, there are a couple of things you will need to do before getting started! Below is a step-by-step "how to" guide! This is great for people who are just starting out in the web world and would like to know a little bit more on how to get a site on the web! We will also explain to you how to get your site up and running in no time!

1. Business Name & Domain Name

A good way to get your business noticed is to have an eye and ear catching title! What kinds of products or services will you be providing to the public? You can than come up with a great name to call your business.

Turn your business's name into a domain! There are some great sites out there to register your "domain" name. A Domain is an address online that people can type into the address bar of a browser, and than come to your site! Other popular names for a domain name is a URL or web site address. We recommend going through Go Daddy to register your web site address. They are affordable and economical.

2. Server Hosting & Software

After the domain is registered, it's time to find a server that is both financially sound and compatible to your business's needs. A lot of companies offer hosting, however it is good to compare all of these companies and what they offer. Will you be putting many pictures up on your site, so storage needs to be wide? Will you be needing a lot of software for your site; so technology on the server needs to be looked at.

We recommend having a Content Management System installed on your server if you do not know how to code HTML. CMS programs are great for those who know nothing about web designing! A web designer can design a template for your site, and all you'd have to do is type in your content! Very Very simple; anyone can update the site!

3. Designing Your Site

Once the Business, Domain Name, server, and software are all set... you will need to design your site!
